Covid 19 Protocols And Procedures

The safety of our patients and staff has always been of utmost importance to our practice, more so during this pandemic environment.  The American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Centers for Disease Control and the Illinois Department of Health have provided guidelines and recommendations to maximize safety in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Our office is diligently keeping up with these recommendations.

  • Patient forms can now be completed online and emailed securely to our office.
  • We never have more than one patient at our facility at any given time.
  • We screen every patient for Covid-19 prior to and on the day of their appointment.
  • Masks must be worn by all individuals entering our facility.
  • We check everyone’s temperature upon arrival at the office using an infra-red thermometer.
  • Patients with Covid symptoms or a temperature over 100.4℉ will be rescheduled for treatment after 14 days.
  • We offer hand sanitizer and mouthwash prior to treatment.
  • We have all the required PPE to safely provide treatment.
  • We have installed physical barriers between operatories.
  • We have also installed exhaust fans, HEPA filters and UV lights in our operatories for cleaner air.
  • We are extra vigilant about using barriers on treatment surfaces and thoroughly disinfecting our rooms after every patient.
  • We also screen our staff’s temperature and symptoms every day.
  • We wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols within the office as much as possible.
